- Sensing (S)
- Perceiving reality directly as immediate experience, in its concrete form. It registers perception of object in form of sensory stimulus.
- Intuition (N)
- Perceiving reality beyond sensory details in terms of what possibilities, meanings, or patterns underlies the object. It registers perception of object in form of what could emerge, what is implied, what would become, latent patterns, and future outcomes unconsciously. Its about what's not yet actual, but is possible.
- Thinking (T)
- Evaluates perceptions in terms of logical relations. It determines what object is by forming concepts, and making classifications.
- Feeling (F)
- Evaluates perceptions according to values. It determines whether something is acceptable or unacceptable, agreeable or disagreeable, worthy or unworthy.
