- Building an internal system of logic to understand how things work. (What makes sense?). Focuses on internal consistency and precise reasoning. Questions definitions, assumptions, and structure. Wants things to make sense logically.

- Organizing the external world using objective facts, rules, and measurable results (what works?). Focuses on efficiency, evidence, and outcomes. Trusts data, procedures, and proven methods. Wants things to work correctly in reality.
- Introverted feeling (Fi)
- Evaluating things based on personal, internal values (what feels right?). Focuses on authenticity and personal ethics. Forms deep but often unspoken value judgments. Less concerned with group consensus.
