Nate River
Nate River, better known as Near, is a brilliant detective in Death Note and one of L's successors from Wammy's House. Calm, analytical, and highly intelligent, Near continues the investigation into Kira after L's death. He is known for his habit of playing with toys and puzzles while thinking through complex cases. Unlike L, Near relies heavily on teamwork and careful planning. His sharp reasoning and patience allow him to uncover crucial truths, making him a key figure in the final stages of the battle against Kira.
